MR DEX

MR DEX (UK): A Deckhead since his pre-teens, Mr. Dex’s (Nigel Hosten) affinity towards Soul, Funk and Hip-Hop music has led to a career with countless highlights. He has played an integral role in several promotional campaigns for Tommy Boy and Rawkus Records at their prominence, along with serving as a tour DJ for legendary UK MC, Klashnekoff. During this period he rocked crowds at the world renowned Fabric and Jazz Café with lineup featuring artists like Ghostface, Raekwon, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Omar, Amy Winehouse and Estelle to name but a few. He is a co-founding member of the infamous VisionBombing project; a monthly web based series showcasing some of the best independent music videos into a mixtape format. In 2013, he launched The DeX Files radio show on London based station, ITCH FM. The show gives listeners the very best in true-school Hip-Hop with a twist of Soul.
