Working with other organisations was something Leon actively encouraged- As long as he wasn’t the one being asked to work alongside them. Sure, they might all be aiming for the same result but different organisations had different means of getting there.

Leon preferred fewer people being in the line of fire. Teams weren’t really his style.

So he’d been partnered with ‘Arch’. He supposed that he should be glad that it was just the one tagalong. He could work with that.

“Intel says there’s a survivor’s enclave in the subway running low on food. We need to extract them before they starve and have them relocated. And eliminate any hostiles along the way, of course.”

Shepard has a gun pointed at him, but the fact she's giving him a chance is written clearly in her green eyes. It's relatively easy these days to tell who's Cerberus and who isn't. One or two exceptions aside. "Hey. What are you doing?"

The aging mercenary ceased his assault on the Cerberus agent he was holding, the lifeless body dropping to the floor "Just here on some business. I'm from ShadowNet. Mind if I turn around?" He didn't exactly wait for a response, dropping the karambit knife in his hand as he peeked behind himself.

His face and hands look horrid - like a prisoner of war, but old. "The name's Arch. Correct me if I'm wrong, aren't you Commander Shepard?" He had his hands held up, trying to prove he wasn't going to attack her.
