Shoulda posted this days ago, but you know how holiday weeks are. As of Saturday night, in Provincetown, MA, presenting our newly sashed Mr. New England Leather, Ulysses T. He won over the audience, impressed the judges, and took home the title. A major congratulations to him, and may he represent New England well on his journey to IML in Chicago next year.
And yeah, that's me in my purple Vanson.
Excited. Mr. New England Leather is coming up for the first time in two years (damn you, Covid-19). You can see me there with the titleholder for the past two years, Roberto Cuero, who ran on a platform of inclusion and an outreach to the gay Latinx-American leather community. The man, who yes, looks exactly like Kake (no accident), represented our community since 2019, but will be stepping down in Provincetown, MA on the 20th of November. Be there. History will be made, and it demands you be there.
Well, well. We are a handsome looking bunch. With our current Mr. New England Leather, Roberto Cuero, his husband and his friend, at Mates Leather Weekend, on Uniform and Cigar Night, in our BLUF gear. Handsome indeed.
Someone did a bad job of parking their boat. Shame, really.
Tonight's the night! Be there or, well, don't. I can't force you. But look for the Cape Cod Boot Boy, sporting his tall Miguel Jones leather boots tonight, and don't be afraid to say hello. I have a friend running for the title tonight and another friend stepping down after serving the community under the title for two years (pandemic overlap), so this will be a good night. Well, I intend to have one, anyway...
