I've sent an email how long have the posts been up?
I DON'T KNOW SHE'S OH MY GOD PLEASE LEE OMYGOD
I'm sending tumblr an email I don't know what else to do
I THINK SHE IS ALREADY OH GOD PLEASE
Looking for GISHWHES recruits, apply within!
Hello fellow Tumblrites and prospective Gishminions! There's two weeks left of GISHWHES '14 registration, and Team PartnersInCrime has many spaces to fill. At least five, with a few more on the fence, of last year's members have decided not to participate this year (or to join a different team), and so that means we're looking for new and enthusiastic recruits! I expect there will be about ten spaces to fill, give or take a few. A bit disappointing but nonetheless this is an opportunity for us to meet some new friends!
If anyone is interested in joining our Gishwhes team, please message me! It's ok if you haven't done Gishwhes before, but we'd like that you be excited and motivated. We're not cutthroat, but at the same time we need participation from every member in order to get the most out of this hunt. If you're new to Supernatural/Gishwhes, it's important to understand that this scavenger hunt is one straight week of craziness, panic, and public embarrassment. You can't be afraid to approach strangers, wear abnosomal outfits, and get in touch with your scrappy, crafty side.
We're looking for potential team members from all over, especially from outside the US (or from the western US). This strategy optimizes the number of items that can get done in a given day due to time zone differences. But do not let your location stop you from applying! It's more important to us that you are dedicated, have the time/resources to complete items, and will be easy to contact before/during the hunt. Communication is key, and if you won't be ready at your computer at any time during the hunt it can become problematic due to the speed at which this whole thing moves along. A day without talking is like assuming you're dead (not to be harsh!). If you have unyielding job commitments, this may not be a good idea, unless your workplace can prove to be useful for certain items. Even better is if you have local friends willing to help out- it may not be advantageous to sign them all up (because of the time zones, like I said, we are trying to space ourselves out) but having people to assist you with items or who have special skills/resources for obscure items is a real plus. And if you yourself have talents that could be useful, that's the icing on the cake. The biggest things are transportation and sewing/craft-making. There are a lot of items related to food outfits, costumes, acting out strange scenes with said costumes, and going to specific locations.
Whether or not you possess all or some of these skills/resources, feel free to message me with questions or to request to join! I will give preference to bloggers I know- mutuals, people I have followed for a while and can vouch for their quality of character. If you're someone I'm familiar with who wishes to join, feel free to bring a friend who you can vouch for as well. I'm just cautious about accepting strangers who will register and then drop off the map (this has happened multiple times). If you have a team already that also does not have enough members and would like to discuss a merge, let me know.
That's about it... the sooner we have a full team, the sooner I can stop worrying about all of this. The last thing we want is to be assigned random players. I am excited to talk to you and hopefully work with you this August!
rewatching fargo, i definitely ship wrenchers. like, i could even argue that they were actually written as partners, not just partners. i'd love to ask noah hawley about what dynamic he had in mind for them.

I was tagged by supernatural-demonic-puppies
Rule 1: Always post the rules. Rule 2: Always answer the questions from the person who tagged you and write your own questions. Rule 3: Tag people. Rule 4: Actually tell them you tagged them. (except i don't because i take the shortcut and mention them in the post)
1) Favorite breed of dog?
I'm not a dog person, but I guess Scotties or Shetland Sheepdogs.
2) Favorite Disney movie?
*rubs back of neck* hehh....I'm also not much of a Disney person... Disney owns the Avengers so I'll go with that. If you're looking for a legit Disney movie, then Bugs Life or Wall-E.
3) Favorite episode of Supernatural?
I don't have one favorite, more like a list. The Rapture, On The Head of a Pin, Sacrifice, The Born-Again Identity, Faith, A Little Slice of Kevin, Changing Channels, The Man Who Would Be King.
4) Who is your favorite Doctor?
11 was my first Doctor, so he's seared onto my hearts forever. But objectively, I love all of the ones I've seen (8-11) equally.
5) What color are your eyes?
Hazel. Same color as Jensen Ackles's.
6) What’s your favorite book?
Life, The Universe, and Everything, the 3rd book in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series by Douglas Adams.
7) Have you ever been to a con?
I've been to Queen City Kamikaze (a small convention in NH) and Boston Comic-Con 2013. This August I'm going back to BCC and meeting John Barrowman and getting a photo op!
8) Have you ever met a celebrity? If so, who?
I have met my favorite band-Korn- once outside a venue before a show, and then just the singer a month later outside the venue after the show. That was quite the story.
can u tell this was the culmination of my life
But I haven't actually been to a concert, all of these times I wasn't old enough to get in, and they very rarely tour close enough for me to go (plus I can't afford it and have no one to go with).
9) What’s the last dream you had?
I was going shopping with the X-Men in a department store and somehow I gained Quicksilver's powers and his were drained and so he was like 'wtf' and I could run really fast but also jump/glide far distances because I was going so fast. I was suddenly being chased by a giant lion (this is totally because I watched Narnia that day) and so I was leaping around from pine tree to pine tree in this wintery forest as this lion chased me and I couldn't seem to get away. None of the X-Men could help me. Interestingly, a lot of my dreams have a common theme of something chasing me.
10) Would you rather go skydiving or deep sea diving?
Both are on my bucket list. But probably deep sea diving first!
New questions for you guys:
1) What's your newest fandom and how did you get into it?
2) Who's your longest-lasting celebrity crush?
3) What album could you listen to on repeat forever?
4) If you could make a movie about anything, what would it be about and who would you cast?
5) Why is your favorite show/movie your favorite?
6) Do you collect anything?
7) Do you believe humans are inherently good or bad, and do you think people can change?
8) Anywhere in space and time- where and when would you go to stay?
9) Are there any words you don't like? (I can't stand 'moist' and 'squelch')
10) If you could do absolutely anything right at this very moment, what would you do?
