This incredible ivory lace gown, heavily appliquéd with grape leaves, was worn by Mary Astor as Mrs. Anna Smith in the 1944 film 𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝑴𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝑺𝒕. 𝑳𝒐𝒖𝒊𝒔 before appearing again in the 1958 musical 𝑮𝒊𝒈𝒊. The costume was purchased by Debbie Reynolds when MGM sold the majority of their costumes and props in 1970.
