jasmine ⇢ do you have a movie or book you loved but will never watch/read again?

omg i know i have more than this but i can't remember them all, also i wouldn't necessarily say i loved them, more like i appreciated the work of the film, but the ones that come to mind atm are hereditary, midsommar and the menu. i think they are great films with poignant messages, but also very distressing and i never wanna watch them again lol. also i think a LOT of people critically misunderstood midsommar so that's another reason i prefer to keep my distance from it but i think ari aster is a master of the art of making people uncomfortable.

on a similar note, i feel like i would enjoy the plot and messages of david cronenberg's films but i simply cannot stomach them (i wish i could!)

#mrsimqle #answered #i loveeeeeeee talking abt films #of all the three tho midsommar made me feel the worst #i could tolerate the other two if necessary but midsommar i never want to see again #tho i did leave the theater enjoying how thoroughly it messed me up bc i missed horror films being able to make me feel anything at all #but that was at a very different time for me in terms of my mental and physical wellbeing lol i could tolerate a lot more a few years ago #than i do now

11. Favourite extracurricular activity?

Walking!! Me and my mum usually find a loch or cycle path to walk around for the day. Last time we did 10 miles with the dog and we deff slept good after that lol

23. How do you feel about chilly weather?

Well 99% of the time the weather here is miserably wet and cold so I guess I'm used to it atp😭 although I do like being out early on a cold morning, it feels refreshing
