"What's wrong with taking shortcuts, dear?"
Dottie might be a little drunk right now and dyed her hair brown.

Wanda didn’t know the extent of what she had done, how it affected everyone in the town of Westview. Though after it was all over, Wanda felt she should talk to at least one of the townspeople. Before she left, after she lost Vision and her twins, she went over to the woman's door and gave a knock as she stands there waiting nervously. Waiting for the pitchforks and fire at every second that passed. She calls out softly through the door.
“I just want to talk.”

"Oh, dip! Really?" She wasn't sure how Dottie would respond-- but, Agnes really hadn't expected that. "I'll stay as long as you want, sweetpea. What can Agnes do to make it all better, hm?"

"A bad time?" Agnes laughed a bit nervously, very conscious of her lack of dress. "Never a bad time for you, dear!" She cleared her throat and willed for the redness in her cheeks to go away. "Is, uh, is everything okay?"
"Are you lost, girl?" The woman said as she stumbled upon the small figure in the dark. "I sense a fear and a power in you." They were not too far from the cottages of her coven. She had been out, collecting dry wood when she had felt this strand of magic. As she followed it, she crossed paths with the young woman before her.
"What say you?" The older woman said. "What brings you out here? You're a long way from home."

She hadn't expected Sarah to be done that quickly with her shower. Her eyes flew open and with a free hand, she pulled the blanket up over her.
"Hi, honey."

A loveless marriage. It seemed Phil didn't know just how God he had it-- Agnes surprised herself when she realized she had been jealous of this man as she sat in her own miserable marriage.
Ever since she had lived in Westview, it had always been Dottie that filled her thoughts, and that was confusing for her, but it was also terrifying. What did this all mean?
"You deserve to be cared about, Dottie--" Her voice was low, afraid that someone might hear, even if it was the two of them. Her free hand reached forward to rest on Dottie’s waist, pulling her closer. She held her breath. "I think we both deserve that."
