I decided to experiment with this sealant alternative. I love MSC but the toxicity of it is really scary lol... I have a mask but it's not a professional respirator. Most of the time I get lazy and just hold my breath lol... (I know I'm dumb) ANYWAY! Testing a faceup using this Liquitex matte varnish and my airbrush. So far it still has "tooth" so the paint and pastels seem to be ok with sticking to the surface. But it takes a lot longer to seal, I have to do multiple coats waiting for it to dry in between until I get a good layer built up. Are there any other artists out there who have used this method?
