Do you think Ms. Hallgrim and Aunt Jane would get along?

Assuming this is about the Jane I think it is (FNAF-verse), no, I categorically don't. I think Ms. Hallgrim starts out a bit too conformist and a little Like That, but she does very clearly care a lot about her kids and ultimately she really does come to change her ways and understand Hilda. She just needed a little push in the right direction. I think she would hate anyone who wants to rip a kid away from a loving guardian for the sake of money lol.

What gave you the idea to have Ms. Hallgrim adopt Trevor?

I mean... he needed adopting XD. In all seriousness, while it could have been Johanna, for Trevor I wanted it to be someone who would be kind and understanding enough to help him through his mother's abuse, but also firm enough in a positive way to help him be a better person. That left Ms. Hallgrim as the obvious choice - she also reminds me a lot of my own grandmother, which helped :))

What are some underrated characters in your opinion?

I'm just gonna make this one response - sorry apparently there's a keyboard shortcut to post??

1 - Adeline

I really haven't seen that much about her, but I really love her enthusiasm!! And yes, I ship her with Alfur (she's my second favourite ship for him, after Johanna).

2 - Kelly

We know that despite everything, she has a soft side; honestly, between my headcanons for marra recruitment in general and the fact her mom didn't know that was her favourite toy, I don't think she has a great relationship with her parents, either. I'd really like to see her get redeemed.

3 - Mr Ostenfeld

I never see this guy talked about outside of the alternate timeline sacrifice, and I really want to see him explored more. I've had my own go at giving him some depth in the Runaway AU, and I need post-canon ship content of him and Tildy because to heck with them staying apart after that.

4 - Ms Hallgrim

I really like that she comes round on Hilda at the end; having another authority figure who understands and accepts Hilda's differences is really neat, and I wish we'd see more of her.

5 - David's Family

I just love their dynamic so much! They're unconditionally loving and supportive and it's adorable!

Learned Behaviour for the "Why I wrote it?" Bingo? :DD

Learned Behaviour was inevitable the moment I realised how bad Trevor's abuse was. It took me a little while to decide exactly who was going to adopt him; I considered Johanna, and David's parents, but I ended up settling on Ms Hallgrim because she seemed like she would be really understanding (after what happened with Hilda) but also firm enough to guide him without resorting to bad parenting. The line where she tells Trevor "there's a word for how your mother treats you" was basically the genesis of this whole fic. Of course, I had to put Trevor through the wringer with some additional trauma, even if my goal was to put him in a better place, and this was absolutely spiteful to his mum.

Fun fact, I really wanted to call this fic Problem Child, but I'd already used that title for another fanfic; I settled for referencing that in the summary instead XD

What are some other characters you wish the show did more with?

The marra are the big one - I have so many headcanons about them, and I wish we'd at least gotten a name for Pigtails (David's Marra) - they all have so much more potential IMO and I'm sad they didn't come back in Season 2. I also wanted more of Ms. Hallgrim in Season 2, and I feel like there's a lot of potential plotlines left for the Rat King.

Ms. Hallgrim always assumed Trevor was just a problem child, but after she finds out about the abuse he's suffering at home, she's forced to reconsider the reasons for his behaviour, and help give him a better future.
