Very excited to announce that I will be curating my first show next week as part of Greenpoint Open Studios. I will be there selling books, prints and other fun things! Info below: Random Fiesta: 80s Made 90s Raised - a Greenpoint Open Studios group show of millennial artists curated by Laura June Kirsch. On June 10th and 11th from 12 to 6 pm, Bechdel Project (252 Green St), as part of their Community Space Program, will host the work of five artists who have been shaped by being a part of the last generation to experience life pre-internet. Each brings a unique, playful style and flavor to the show. Featuring work by LPX, Miles Shelton, Mary Shah, Russ Rubin and work from Romantic Lowlife Fantasies (get your copy here).

MS MR is an American pop duo. It was founded in New York and consists of musicians Lizzy Plapinger and Max Hershenow. Their music, which they describe as “Tumblr glitch pop,” is a mix of electropop and wave.

The duo released the music video for their first single Hurricane on April 26, 2012. The single was released on iTunes on July 10, 2012. It received rave reviews from critics and the public alike, with it being praised for its "vintage sound". Hurricane reached number 38 in the German charts and was used on the band's debut EP entitled Candy Bar Creep Show, along with Bones, Dark Doo Wop and Ash Tree Lane. The EP was released on September 14, 2012. The track Bones was used in the American trailer for the third season of Game of Thrones. Hurricane is also the theme song of the VOX series The Club of the Red Ribbons. The video for their second single Fantasy was released on YouTube on February 4, 2013. The song was also available on iTunes from March 8, 2013. After its release, the single received good reviews. She has been described as “infectious” and “beguiling”. The debut album Secondhand Rapture was released on May 14, 2013. Since June 2013, Fantasy has been used in Ampya advertising.

On August 7th, 2023, as part of the 10th anniversary of their debut album Secondhand Rapture, released in 2013, the band announced their new single Saturn Return, which was released on September 6th, as a farewell song on social media and at the same time announced their eventual dissolution known.
