Msabaha (Arabic: مسَبّحة, Hebrew: מסבחה)
Msabaha is a Middle Eastern dish that contains soft, cooked chickpeas mixed with tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, spices and herbs and with premade hummus.
History: It is believed that the roots of Msabaha come from Lebanon but nobody knows who invented it. There is more to say about the spelling of the word that is found as Msabbcha, Msabecha, Mussabbehha and Mesabha. Msabaha is in reality a hummus dish but is often referred as mix of blended and whole chickpeas. Some Syrians refer to hummus as Msabaha. Nowadays, Msabaha has become a favorite dish and locals travel long ways to find their favorite Msabaha.
