Weekend Update

Had a great weekend with just a tad bit of crappiness mixed in. Friday night the hubs and I took E2 and B to a Mississippi Braves game. Lots of fun and the fireworks were great! It was threatening rain when we got there but luckily only had a few sprinkles. Unfortunately, my cars Check Engine Light started flashing and it started sputtering on the way home. We were blessed to make it home, but had to take it to the closest dealership, which is an hour and a half away, today. All 5 of us will be kickin' it in my hubby's car for the next few days. Should be interesting. My oldest daughter, E1, spent Friday night with a friend and went to Ship Island on Saturday. She had so much fun but, bless her heart, she got burnt. I'm very diligent about making sure she always has good sunscreen coverage, so I hate that I wasn't there to make sure she was taken care of. She's a redhead, and extremely fair skinned. She gets it honest. I burn too. Yesterday, we took E2 and B to the Hattiesburg Zoo. It's a small zoo but very nice and well maintained. My kids love it there. Contemplating getting an annual membership so we can go at least once a week. Looking forward to a good week! Wishing you one too!
