A little bit of doggie aspirin might be in order.
Yeah, the glucosamine with chondroitin is pretty much aspirin for doggies. My vet said to increase the regular dosage if Faye seems to need it, so I might try that for today and tomorrow, just to get her back to her normal.

As a long time dog owner yes, I think you're doing the right thing. I know our dogs love to still love to run and play but they also live in the moment and don't realize they're going to pay for it later.
It’s never easy to hear you’re doing all you can when you see your pup still not at 100%. It was good to see her being so active and happy, especially since she’s been moving around a lot less lately. At the same time, I couldn’t help worrying about how she’d feel later. Keeping that balance between play/exercise and rest is going to be a challenge.
