Thank you so much for tagging me, @porgthespacepenguin- this is gonna be a wild all-over-the-place thing, just like my mind and WIPs currently - but I guess you'll see what I mean soon 😂🫠 So let's dive right into it! 🫡
Priority WIPS
AND THERE IT ALREADY IS - A VERY GOOD QUESTION 😂🫣 But I would say here are the three things I am currently most actively working on (ah yes, it is ALL VERSTAVE, in case you were wondering 😅):
My Chroma in Your Veins - my (freaky) soulmate AU featuring Painter x Writer political shenanigans and going on an expedition together :) Currently sitting at 12/20 chapters, though I suspect I will need to update the chapter count because the plot has been running away with me. Ahem.
Unit 33 - my WWI-AU with @shinpm- has been on the backburner unfortunately a while because of Visual Novel work and other writing (and arting) obligations, but I hope we will be back at it soonish 🤗 The premise: Verso and Gustave get drafted for WWI in the same Unit. It's a story about finding love, family and identity against all odds (😭)
Untitled GoT-AU (also with lovely @shinpm - we have literally ZERO excuse for this but it started with Shin telling me "imagine Virgin Verso" and somehow ... this gigantic thing with worldbuilding document and an outline of roughly 33 chapters has been born in .... less than a week??? 🫠🫠🫠 Sometimes ideas just grab me by the neck and down under I go 🙃 So yeah. This obviously needs some fleshing out but the premise is: Game of Thrones inspired setting in which King!Gustave comes back to the continent to reclaim his rightful throne. Verso Snow, as former blade of the Night's Watch, swears his fealty as his knight - it's a story about devotion and discovering desire. About a knight who has no word for what he feels and a king who teaches him the language. About loyalty that overcomes all obstacles 👑 (and YES, I am EXTREMELY NOT OK about this)
So, do you see what my problem is, right??? Let's continue ....
Backburner
I wouldn't even call all of them backburner-backburner, but I also cannot put everything on the priority list now, can I? But I will try to make this list as short as possible ...
Need a Lift? - Buffso Gym-AU with wonderful @theartsypumpkin- imagine Verso as PT and Gustave as gym newbie ... we have VISIONS okay 😂
The Horny Universe - continuation of "En Apesanteur" (that reminds me: the first follow-up part is already written ... 🤭 of course also with my beloved @shinpm )
The Horny Universe - Public Transport edition (please don't ask me too many questions about it, but right at this point this sits at 3 finished parts and roughly 35k words ... so yeah, this will also be published at some point or the other ... 🫠 (yeah I am sorry, I also need to tag @shinpm for this AGAIN, because our shared braincell leads to too many things on this list ... 😂🫶)
and SO MANY MORE IDEAS that I am not going to write down now because this post is already way too long.
