Finding and briefing an freelance illustrator

We decided to hire a illustrator for the creation of the collectable characters. We produced these mood boards to show potential freelance illustrations as examples

I was the person in control of communicating with the our illustrator Alana Bryan (BCU illustration 3rd, 2017).

Testing the Characters Hole sizes

Printing the character before hand was to get the right sizing of the finer holes. It took four attempts to get the right hole, keeping children and adults in mind. 3cm = End hole sizes

M.Gallier brief Done

We printed on matt light weight paper, as it was low priced and was under the £10 budget. Plus the ideation being this was that the magnetic would give it a steady back when we come to backing it.

The features of the leaflet are;

Magnetic leaflet, Easy to cut out, Qr Code to order new milk, background story, branded magnetic & range of finger puppet characters.
