While you can get Multiple Sclerosis at any age, the average age at being diagnosed is between 20 and 50 years old according to the National MS Society.
They also have estimated that in the United States there are 8,000 to 10,000 people with Multiple Sclerosis 18 years old and younger.
Another 10,000 to 15,000 18 and under have had at least 1 symptom suggesting MS.
They believe 2% to 5% ( 2 to 5 out of 100) of the 913,925 with MS had an episode before age 18.
