but as far as the act of joining the community, just be proactive in interacting with others, whether you prefer to lurk and reblog or actually reach out and talk to others, there's no wrong way to participate; post what you like, with the appropriate tags, and don't be scared to take the initiative in meeting folks or joining conversations
