A rusted relic. C.C.C. stood for the Civilian Conservation Corps. Created to help people work again during the Great Depression, the Conservation Corps helped to create roadwork through many of our National Parks. They also helped create many wilderness trails throughout the US that are still in use today. This rock crusher from 1928 was seen on the side of the road at MT Tom State Park, Holyoke MA.
