sorry. this guy in inbox again for the third time this hour. literally not important but ur post mentionong the college au mechminds reminded me. im so absolutely perplexed as to how this happened but my hs au roboty(like one of my two only ACTUAL human designs of him..... bc making him human scares me </3) looks eerily similar to raymond and it perplexes me because i designed him like half a year before i even stumbled upon any of your accounts. and i wonder now if roboty worms are telepathic/silly but also now can never post him because everyone will kill me and go "you are ripping off foolcrum57 of robotyliker fame" /j
i think the independent development of such similar designs just means we are objectively correct about him

I do believe in the existance of Headcanon Hiveminds when it comes to bfdi, but i've noticed that it is so so so SO much more prevalent with the mechminds for some reason (remote with puffy sleeves and/or a skirt? TV wearing some kind of proper/nerdy or straightlaced outfit? robot flower with a bun?) Of course, not a lot of people draw fully human/humanoid android roboty so its less prevalent for him. I do think mechminds worms are telepathic in a lot lot of ways. And maybe roboty Looking Like That is part of it. I don't know if you've seen my #oldart posts but I started drawing roboty like this initially (in 2020)

but most importantly; even if you were taking inspirations from my designs I wouldn't care. modern online art culture is so into the idea of "idea theft" since so much of the online world's validation system is based on popularity and being "known" for something. I know it's ironic to say that when so many people view me as like, the roboty guy but i really don't subscribe to that ideology. tldr it is ok if your designs look similar to mine that just means there's a collective consensus you're tapping into and thats the best part of fandom
