So I've been thinking...
Since Fang is tagging along with Howlett's Hunters, he has to have some means of defending himself. Took me a while, but I think I've sorted it out.
A crossbow. Accompanied with poisonous arrows and possibly poisonous smoke bombs/grenades. And maybe throwing knives/needles. My thinking: he's not the type for close combat or hand-to-hand combat. He wouldn't fight unless absolutely necessary (and more likely defense than offense) and he would do it from a distance. I was thinking a regular bow and arrow first, but that would get caught in his hair. So the next best thing would probably be a crossbow.
