Look at him. The second Gale said his name he stopped eating. Poor guy. He looks like he's expecting to get grounded/punished. All his life is flashing before his eyes. I think at least for a second he thought Gale was going to kick him out. Omg this little guy is so traumatized.

Mayor Lewis could never

I just love Mayor Gale so much and he's a very endearing character too. He went off to war and came back to marry his sweetheart. Even after his spouse's death he still loves her and tries to be a good father to his kids. He really cares for Portia and the residents, and actually plans for the town's development. He also came running when the mine collapsed, and back to town for help.

A lot of people respect him too like Mint and Russo. The only man without a neck that deserves respect lol

He got no time for purple boxers and golden statues. (no hate on Mayor Lewis tho)

Hands down best Mayor.
