okay, so finally stopped putting this off. here is the official request for “the” friend group !!! 

layne is hoarding all the friend groups so some of the wine-ing and shit-talking ladies can over lap in this group, if you so please. so…this group of friends have been friends for a while. some have been around since school, some a little later. depends on how long everyone has been in minnesota. jack moved in middle school and probably went to state school so he’s been around for most of the time. anyway, the group is in their late 20’s to early 30’s and they are all at various stages of their lives. 

some are married and about to pop a child out into the world (jack and ellie) and some are still single and ready to mingle (or not). i don’t think i’m going to put a cap on the amount of members but l o l so we can have it our way but let’s not get crazay. but yeah, they all hang out together and probably go to wineries, trivia or bingo, and drink a lot and get rowdy (except ellie…because she can’t. jack says sorry babe!) these crazy beauties have all been through thick and thin together and have seen each other through a lot. yeah, they have a lot of fun but i expect pain and drama too because lol friends having dated in the past and shit is my bread and butter. but also, we need guys too ok??? jack doesn’t want to be the only dude in a sea of ladies.

this is a request for eleanor (margot) and cecelia’s (alicia) half-siblings!!!! 

long story short: robert mulligan was a serial cheater, hobert if u will. he travelled a LOT for work which meant that he was very rarely home. he left cecelia’s mom for ellie’s mum; they remarried and moved to america and thought everything was pretty and picture perfect... which it was until six months ago. 

robert died suddenly of a heart attack and, after his death, all of his kids came out of the woodwork. five of them, to be exact!!! turned out robert had been conducting a nice number of affairs over the years and managed to (somehow) keep all of them separate... until they all showed up for his funeral, obviously. 

now all of the kids are in town together and... trying to get to know one another? but it’s awkward??? af??? robert was a relatively decent dad who was probs absent a lot of the time but when he was there he was great. he was just a total trashbag and none of the kids knew until... now lmao. cue existential crises. 

honestly everything is up in the air for them! it’d be cute if a couple were maybe actual siblings?? but if not, that’s chill too. ages are open and could overlap tbh some could be older, some the same age??? (i’ll list them in the order they come in so pls feel like you can make someone older than those listed!!) and pbs are open - we’d love to have a few poc pbs but !!!! make a mulligan. they can have different surnames (if they took their moms obvs) and just join us for this Absolute Shit Show. you can hmu on discord if you have any more questions!! irene#0856 JUST PLS MAKE ONE.

basically minneapolis’ version of anderson cooper. lincoln is not about the #fakenews. he’s one of the delehoy siblings and lives to prank all of them. he likes to play chopin on the piano. he’s a graduate of cornell university and ended up interning for cnn in nyc. more importantly, he then became a soul cycle instructor. yes, that is right. that lasted three years before he decided he wanted to go back into the world of news reporting. he’s gotten some pretty sweet gigs throughout the years and was a correspondent for a lot of huge events, but his heart led him back to minneapolis because of his fiancée. he’s an evening news anchor, so tune in ;)
