mt CASA x Heima

Another part of our internship for Young STAR, aside from the graphic design/layout/writing stuff and producing shoots, is to cover events.

(guys I just attended an event I went out of the house I'm no longer a lola please be proud of me)

The first event that we went to as interns is Heima's mt CASA launch last Friday, September 27, at their Brixton branch. mt CASA [em-tee kasa], if I understood it correctly, is like a much bigger version of washi tapes. Heima is the first to bring it here to the country from Japan, I believe. It's intended for interior design decorations like walls and furnitures.

Nicest display ever. Look at all thaaaaatttttt colors.

They had this "free trial" table where you can try the mt CASA tapes in different colors and designs on your phones, bags, cameras... wherever you want them to stick. The mt CASA isn't just for interior design, I think, because it sticks to almost everywhere.

They also had this mini exhibit where they asked four designers to incorporate the mt CASA tapes to decorate the make-shift, wooden "homes" they had on display.

Heima's colorful interiors is matched by the sweets sponsored by Vanilla Cupcake Bakery and Paper Chic Studio.

We really didn't get to do much at the event; we arrived at 8:30, roamed around the store a little and interviewed the store owner for the feature artice before leaving. The DJ's weren't there yet when we arrived, but we didn't wanna stay that late for them because we were commuting back to Katipunan.
