Where is Tana, the Bloodsower from? The short answer is, "We don't really know."
But that doesn't mean we don't know ANYTHING about her home world. I believe by connecting art and flavor text across cards, we can get some clues.
The first thing to note is the saproling in Tana's art. It's easy to think that all saprolings look alike, but in reality saprolings are quite distinct from one plane to another.
For example, the saprolings of Alara look very different from the saprolings of Ravnica or Dominaria. And the saproling in Tana's art doesn't look like the saprolings of any of those planes.
What Tana's saproling DOES resemble is the saproling token from M13, and the saprolings in the art of Fungal Sprouting. And who do we see quoted on Fungal Sprouting? Fellow Commander product alum, Ghave, Guru of Spores.
And if we take a look at the backstories of Tana and Ghave, we see some common themes. Naturally-occurring saprolings living in dense forests. Hostilities between humans and saprolings.
At this point, I'm assuming that Tana and Ghave come from the same home plane. (At least until I hear otherwise.)
