i really do want to see what they do with the fomori in the upcoming plot. they were introduced a little ways before the era when i got into the game, and there was always a bit of mystique to the full art vanillas.

this card was in my first magic set, core 2011, so i always thought it was a classic normal mtg card and compare draw spells to it. it was kind of funny when i discovered that it was a future sight card that was reprinted exactly in 2011 and nowhere else

tbh another reason i don't care for the new magus of the moon arts is that the original is simply excellent

one of my favorite flavor texts of all time, on a card with a decent effect too. the primary reason this one sticks in my mind is that i honestly cannot tell if he's making fun of them or being kind of earnest about taking the advice of people who died. it's quite cute
