GP NJ day 1 wrap up!

So, first things first: I broke my knee somehow. I have a stress fracture of my right kneecap and I need to wear an immobilizer

So, that diagnosis was this morning.

I then went home, got the last few things together and then got an epic mail day from an agent that brings modern burn back to 100%. Then I grabbed a snack and headed to the GP.

I immediately ran into Jeremy aka MissouriMtG and he asked for a pic which is kinda hilarious

Then I went and did my first mystery booster draft and I forced the Experiment 5 because I knew @gavinverhey designed it based off an old drawing so that is 100% getting signed. The draft was fun as hell even if I did lose.

Then I hit the vendors and I did so great. I got a city of traitors, a borderless Oko, my 4th Rush signed bolt and a Eureka! All through through trade.

I ran into so many friends and acquaintances and got to catch up. Despite playing only the one draft today, I was talking to people all day. Magic is awesome.

Oh and instead of going to a giant chain restaurant, I found an amazing Cuban place. The things they do with plantains? Out of this world.

Now to crash and get ready for legacy in the morning!
