The Anon said "worlds rests on opinions": that's exactly the problem. Imo people should be educated at not minding others' opinions, and rather focus on how they are treated; if someone mistreats you, then you have the right to say "Umh, hey? You know, I'm human first of all, just like you, so respect me, b*tch please". But opinions? Of course someone might feel a little disappointed or sad if someone else doesn't like their favourite characters or whatever, but there are two choices in this case: either you stop following that person, or why don't you find out why the persone doesn't like what you like? I think discussing about things (in a civil way) can be actually very interesting, as you find out more things, and is a real act of maturity. Vee-san is kindly sharing with us translations of all the characters, but this remains her own blog, so she's free to state her opinions, and she's always very careful with her words and listens when someone says "uhm, sorry to bother you, that word is offensive". And by the way, how can Vee "bring toxicity" to the characters with her opinions when the characters themselves are toxic to begin with?
Sorry to bother you with my rant over this happening, but stuff in the Anon's ask ticked me off very badly :D

This right here. Of course, this point can be made about pretty much any DL character since they’ve all fucked up at some point. I love Subaru & Shuu but that doesn’t mean I will justify their actions 100% of the time. Heck, Shuu’s Kyuuketsu Do-S CD is one of my least favorite CDs ever because it physically made me feel sick. I would rather listen to Kanato’s CD any day of the week.
From a purely logical point of view, these boys are MADE to be unlikeable. While they have been toned down in recent years, they are still highly selfish and possessive and would never make for a good boyfriend in a real life scenario.
