Playlist this week: Week 21, here we are. My listening habits have been all over the place as of late, which I kind of actually appreciate in making these playlists. It’s kind of fun to have dramatic changes in what you’re listening to. Each style of music can invoke such a diverse range of emotions and feelings, and maybe that’s truly telling of how we function as human beings; we are an amalgam of our surroundings, our tastes, our unique likes and dislikes. Recently heard this Anderson .Paak, Without You, that samples the Hiatus Kaiyote song Molasses, which is an absolute BANGER (and although it’s not on here, you should check it out regardless). Speaking of Hiatus Kaiyote, did you know they’ve been working on a new album? They recently played Fuji Rock fest, and have a few pre-album release shows planned in the coming months. The Dear Hunter recently announced Fossio Et Satio, their Fall 2019 Tour, which is exciting! I’ve been listening to them again recently, and this tour happened to pop up; look it up and check it out! Floral is currently wrapping up a UK tour with Invalids before playing ArcTanGent. Just some fun little music factoids about these artists for ya!
