a disarticulated skink and both skulls together. I was surprised just how different lizards can be from eachother, and it took a lot of searching to find a decent reference! I took a HELL of a lot of photos of the skinks, since there are few photos out there, especcially without the osteoderms.
partially sorted monkey tailed skink skeleton! this was just to check I had all the bits. he has since gone back with his finder for articulation ❤️
the first of two - the male monkey-tailed skink! 🖤 these guys are wonderfully shaped. I couldn't keep the osteoderm covering as I macerate, but I feel that's left these both very unique specimens, as it seems most people keep the osteroderm covering on skinks, sacrificing a view of the skull.
two prehensile tailed skinks, one male and female, I'm cleaning for their owner! I'm only macerating these, thankfully not articulating past the skulls (although I really wish I could do one of them, it'd look super cool! 😍). these guys are really neat! they're already mostly skinned so it's just a case of getting em partitioned. they have osteoderms on their skulls, so wish me luck 👀
after seeing the turnaround on the other two reptiles, their finder messaged me about cleaning some more up for them 👀 I obliged, it makes great content and I really enjoyed working on Repo. I've got two more bearded dragons and two prehensile tailed skinks to clean up! 😍
