luke gets bored when he’s sitting at home for too long, and on long afternoons like that he finds himself at your front door knocking because you didn’t answer the ten messages he had already sent. when you answer the door in just your towel, raising an eyebrow up at him, he would insist that he wouldn’t have had to interrupt you like this if you’d have checked his messages. you roll your eyes and let him inside, asking him what’s up as you head back into your room and find some clothes to wear. he grins and sprawls out on your mattress, playing with things on your nightstand as he explains that he wants to take you out today; maybe to the beach or to get some ice-cream, whatever you want. you smile a little to yourself because you know luke, and you know he gets bored and clingy when he’s been away from you for too long. once you finish changing, you crawl into bed with him and lay on his back, listening to the way his breath comes out in one heavy, surprised gust as he adjusts to having you there. “we’re gonna go have fun?” you ask, grinning as you kiss his shoulder. and luke nods and mumbles into your pillow that you will whenever you decide to let him up.
