Winter Blues (2012)
Welp, fall had arrived and we were back to doing small day hikes to mountain ponds, low summits and short trails. It seemed we had hit a rut in our hiking career. I'm not too sure exactly how we stayed off the higher summits for almost 4 months, but we did.
On Christmas of 2012, Casey asked me to marry him. Life was looking up again, and it would only be a short time before we were back on the trails. We went to our favorite (roofed) destination, Hikers Paradise in Gorham, New Hampshire, and spent a couple of days exploring the snow-filled trails.
