The Mohan is a legendary creature in the folklore of Central and South America. While ideas about the Mohan vary, it is most often described as a type of spirit. Sometimes, they are the benevolent souls of indigenous ancestors, but more often, they are said to be wicked and dangerous.
A common depiction of the Mohan is as a lustful, satyr-like being that kidnaps and rapes young women. Other times, it is accused of steal the equipment and catches of fishermen, or is said to be able to transform into a cat-like creature.

Description: Also known as the Muan, or the Tiger-Monkey, the Mohan is a cave dwelling Sasquatch that’s said to be seven feet tall with black fur. It was first seen in the 16th century in South America, and is apparently a good swimmer.
