idk as someone who supposedly “should” relate to blossomfall because both of my brothers are diagnosed autistic while i’m not and they got more attention than me because of that. (which tbf is a much more nuanced situation bc im actually disabled too) i never saw her as anything more than an utterly unpleasant and meanspirited character because the narrative is so disinterested in briarlight’s feelings on the matter and just cares about how disabled people ruin families or whatever
#tbf my situation is more nuanced bc im also disabled (diagnosed adhd and undiagnosed autism) and was just generally the youngest accident ki#kid who just added more of a burden#and a lot of my issues are just my own mental health and disabilities being ignored or minimized for the sake of ‘’not adding more work’’#but yeah it just made it harder to sympathize with this character. because textually she doesnt suffer from anything besides not getting muc#much attention#people will fawn over her and hate on millie and briarlight but shit all over breezepelt#bc his abuse comes from a fan favorite character while millies just the bitch that ruined silvergray or whatever#all while rooting and cheering when briarlight unceremoniously died and wrote fics of her dying before that#because ‘’uwu realism’’ and ‘’doesnt blossomfall deserve this one thing?’’
