There’s so much angst going around, so let me give some ✨fluffy✨ headcanons to heal those wounds.
Illinois can’t help but lovingly stare at Yancy every once in a while. It usually happens when Yancy’s rambling about something he’s passionate about or whenever he does little things for Illinois to show that he cares. It also happens when the roles are switched and Illinois is the one being comforted by him. Yancy will cup Illinois’s face in his hands and tell him that everything will be okay, that he’ll always be there for him, and Illinois feels like he might cry because what did he ever do to deserve someone like Yancy? He’s looking down at him with so much adoration and love that it might burst from his chest. He’ll put his hands over Yancy’s and gently take one of them before placing a kiss to his tattooed fingers and telling him how wonderful his life is with him in the world.
One thing that Bing loves to do is make Google laugh. Props to him if his jokes actually end up being good but most of the time, they’re so cheesy and bad that Google has to laugh. Bing also tends to do it unintentionally sometimes. One day when Google and Bing were walking around the manor’s garden, Bing made the “totally smart” decision of climbing one of the trees. He said he “wouldn’t need any help”, so Google watched as Bing climbed the tree without a care in the world. After Bing finally got to the top, a few seconds of silence passed before Google asked if he’d like to get down now, smile evident in his voice. A few more seconds of silence passed before Bing sighed defeatedly and begrudgingly admitted that he was stuck. Google bursted out laughing, leaning against the tree and you could heard Bing protesting that “it’s not funny!” before throwing an apple down in Google’s direction with an “>//<“ face.
Mare LOVES complimenting Mad. Even though they’ve both been together for a relatively long time, Mad always goes red in the face if he’s complimented due to not being used to it — that doesn’t mean he doesn’t like it though. Mad also does this thing where he’ll hide his face in Mare’s chest when he’s praised about something and groan as if annoyed but it just ends up making him look more flustered. First time Mad did that, Mare could’ve sworn his heart swelled up and beat as quickly as it could from how adorable Mad was. He received a lot more compliments and playful kisses after that.
Anti goes all the way in taking care of Dark whenever he’s sick. Of course, Dark insists that he’ll be okay but Anti calls bullshit on that every time and he’s said before, and I quote, “You are a stubborn asshole. Stupid, stubborn asshole. Now let me do my work”. That was most likely before they got together. Dark woke up once to Anti sitting in a chair next to the bed, fast asleep with his head and arms resting on the bed and Dark had never felt so cared for. Just the fact that Anti cared enough about him to stay by his side every minute of the day to make sure he was okay was . . . he doesn’t really have the words to describe how it makes him feel. He sat there in silence for a few minutes, running his fingers through the glitch’s hair before Anti finally woke up, immediately asking how he felt.
Whenever Henrik can’t sleep, Edward always pulls him closer to him so that he’s resting his chin on top of the German’s head, arms wrapped around him in a warm, comforting embrace. The two of them just lazily talking about their days if enough to get them tired all over again, and when Edward starts noticing that Henrik’s sentences are pausing for a long while before starting up again, he shushes him quietly and tells him that he can rest. Henrik only musters up a soft “dich lieben (love you)”, too tired to bother translating any more words before falling asleep in Edward’s arms. Edward places a soft kiss to the other’s head before letting his exhaustion fall over him as well.
