Thank you! In a way you’ve already read it, because I’m repurposing two of my Arrow AUs into original fiction. I made some changes to the characters and added in a bunch of new stuff to round it out, but the bones of the story should be very familiar. ;)

Wait. What rule changes?

Well there are 2 that have been proposed for consideration by the Players Association--raising the strike zone to the top of the batter’s knees and eliminating throwing 4 balls for intentional walks (so they would just indicate that they want to walk a batter and he would take his base). I don’t care about the strike zone so much (good for batters, bad for pitchers) but I have STRONG FEELINGS about the intentional walks.

The rule change they’re putting in place in the (very low) minors is starting extra innings with a runner on second. Which. No. What. Please stop. PLEASE STOP DOING THINGS. This rule will be in place for the WBC next month and then in the Gulf Coast League and the Arizona League. So nothing in Single A, Double A or Triple A--BUT STILL.
