Mudkip Monday! || Antonio & Zinnia

"Come on, Mudkip! Just concentrate. Aim higher."

Monday's were Mudkip Mondays, a special day of the week dedicated entirely to training Mudkip. The skipper loves to train, although he's not very good at battling. He's incredibly fast and hard to hit, but the little guy is also very uncoordinated on offense. Aiming just doesn't come naturally to him, and the few times that he does hit his mark, he usually lacks the strength to really do much damage. After all, he is only Level 7.

"Now focus - your target is the fruit dangling from that branch up there," said Antonio, pointing to a tasty looking Nanab berry dangling high up in a tree. "You knock it down and that fruit's your prize. Got it?"

Excitedly, Mudkip bounced up and down, its head nodding in agreement. Taking in one big gulp of air, Mudkip fired a Water Gun attack straight for the fruit in the distance, the trajectory of his beam falling just a little short of the fruit.

"You're almost there. Just give it one more shot and aim higher this time!" Swelling from the encouragement, Mudkip tilted his head further back and gave it one last shot, the stream of water now making direct contact with the Nanab berry in the tree.

 "Yeah!!!" He cried out, excitedly watching as the water gun attack continued to home in on the fruit, eventually clipping it from its branch and sending it falling down. His excitement would only last for so long, however.

Gasp!

 As if in slow-motion, the merriment from Antonio’s face gave way to surprise as he watched the juicy fruit come down crashing on someone’s head...!!
