The Surface world was ever so alien to her...humans themselves were like aliens! She knew so little about them, but in a way, it was exciting! What wasn’t exciting? How hungry she was. She had yet to get all settled up here, and with that, she found herself starving. She never was a meek gal, so she just asked the first person she saw!

Maopai stared down at the paper for a long moment. The monstercouldn’t really form a proper response. At least, not verbally. She delicatelyfolded up the paper and tucked it into her pocket. She’d be keeping that.
She took a few steps over to Marty before hugging him.
