Maopai stared down at the paper for a long moment. The monstercouldn’t really form a proper response. At least, not verbally. She delicatelyfolded up the paper and tucked it into her pocket. She’d be keeping that.

She took a few steps over to Marty before hugging him.

She probably did bring it up too soon. After all, they had only met a little bit ago- the canine shook her head and rubbed the back of her neck. Now she definitely wanted to just hide away back home.
