Sorry it took me some time, I am in Vet school anyways so I was studying for an incoming exam, but here is the fic and I hope you like it! BTW I wanted to continue but it was getting too long, maybe someday I’ll finished it :D

Bake him a birthday cake from scratch. Plan a surprise party for him like two days before. And kiss him every minute for like the entire day. God so cute i cant asfsgshshagga

-Okey, stop- but Magnus kept going, while Alec was laughing between kisses. The day started and Magnus couldn’t keep his hands away, or in this case, his lips from him.

-I can’t, it is your birthday Alexander and I can’t believe you can’t take a day off, at least today- Magnus said pushing himself away from Alec who look at Magnus with half smile.

-I already told you, I have an important meeting and I can’t skip today- Magnus looked at him with puppy eyes and Alec kissed Magnus’s nose to stop him from convincing him. He pressed his palm on Magnus’ cheek softly- I promised this weekend will be about us only.

-AND ME!- a soft and sweet voice came from the door of the living room. Alec and Magnus, who were tangled together in some sort of hug look down to see a blue warlock-HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!

Alec smiled and walked towards Max to picked him up. Up in his daddy’s strong arms Max stretched his arms and place his small hands on Alec’s cheeks with too much force. Alec smiled at his son at the gesture.

-Of course, you and Rafa will come along with us-Alec said with a funny voice, since his cheeks were being squeezed- Thank you baby- the sound of snap of a camera suddenly made Alec look at Magnus’ direction who looked at him back with a smile, holding his phone in front of the two people posing for him. Alec looked at Magnus’ questionably.

-Sorry, you both look cute together- Magnus said without any care in the world-Well, Mr. Lightwood-Bane, I believe you have a meeting to go?

Alec put down Max, who went to his room in a rush,and walked towards Magnus.

-I believed you said you didn’t want me to go and now you want me to go-He said holding’s Magnus shirt to pull him for another kiss, the other man smiled, kissing him on the cheek.

-Yeah but I don’t want you to be mad when you get late to the meeting because your lovely husband kept you busy-The warlock winked at Alec who blushed softly. Alec walked towards the door and looked back with a suspicious look.

-I hope there is not surprise party plan...-Magnus look shocked and quickly reject the idea.

-Darling, I know you don’t like surprises, I will never!-Alec smiled at Magnus’ response. He decided to let go of the topic, said goodbye and left,  Magnus now looking at the door closed. 

one minute came by and Magnus hold his phone towards his ear- Isabelle, my clueless husband is going to Institute, I hope you entertain him well.

-You know I have everything in control, although I still can’t believe you don’t want me to help you with the cake- Said Izzy on the other line, Magnus cringed at her words and quickly respond.

-Err well, you know I need someone to keep my Alexander occupied, besides I do have two amazing people who will help me with the cake.... Keep me in touch!- Before Izzy could say something, Magnus hanged up.

-Kids, come help your papa with the cake, and yes Rafa, I will let you frost the cake!-Magnus said enthusiastically, Max came running, while Rafa was walking slowly, teddy bear in hand, sleepy since he just woke up.

-Can I use the owen?-Max asked adorably, showing his pearl teeth- I like hot stuv (stuff)!

-Magnus looked at his son with narrowed eyes - Max, you will help me breaking the eggs, the oven is for adults-Max folded his arm, showing his disappointment- You can lick the spatula at the end though- Magnus quickly add to make him happy and Max glow at his answer.

A’right!-Max said running to the kitchen.

-No running!- Magnus said before he felt someone tugging his robe

-Will this make daddy happy?- Rafa said softly and Magnus looked at him surprised. Rafa was an insecure kid, after all he lost a lot from the war. So Magnus bent his legs to look at his son more closely.

-Anything done from his family will make him happy -Rafa smiled at the answer and walked towards the kitchen, ready to surprise his dad.
