This is mostly about game Mugman, but if you want to think about any other au of him.. then yeah sure go ahead
Soo, y'know that they had to shot lots and whoever played Cuphead knows that if you play on high brightness (like me because I'm blind as hell) the screen has so many colors it becomes difficult to concentrate a certain point?
And also, the shot that they use is on their fingers. And when they extend their arm, the space isn't THAT big, which means that they would have it right in their face.
Now, picture this, having a blue shining light in your face for ALLLLL the bosses of Inkwell Isle 1, 2, and 3. PLUS the Devil and King Dice.
Here comes the actual headcanon:
Mugman has to wear glasses because all of those things I just listed ruined his eyesight REAAAALLLL bad. Cuphead too, but he'd rather become blind than ever wear glasses in his whole entire life.
And also, extra headcanon since this seems a little too short:
Mugman was ever so slightly insecure when he was a teen, because Cuphead looked 'better and cooler' than he did. But as soon as he grew up, it became the other way around
I hope this was a good meal to all the Mugman fans out there (I feel you), I have other headcanons but the fear of big creators seeing it and pointing at my post while laughing is IMMENSE.
