This is not a review abt the show (but you should really watch it bc it’s awesome!!)

This is just something I wanna say:

I spent half of my childhood in Istanbul it’s like my second home. I love everything about it! The streets, the people, the culture, the architecture, the simmit and cay carts on every street corner.

For the past few years Istanbul just like all of Turkey has been dragged through the mud by people who say they want the best for their country which I’m sure has changed Istanbul’s image for the rest of the world drastically.

So you cannot believe how happy I am to see my Istanbul the true Istanbul as well as Turkish culture in general represented in a good way in a fun, spontaneous and adventurous way. Where everyone calls each other brother, sister, uncle or auntie out of respect. Where there are more tiny alleys and cracks and secret passage ways through the houses than street cats. But also the ever growing metropolis that Istanbul has always been.

I’m just happy that people get to see the beautiful city of Istanbul that I grew up in, in a positive light that is all k bye.
