Sometimes when Muireann went to the tower she swore she could see someone. Familiar yet different. As though she was looking at herself through a warped mirror.

The kettle on her floor had gone mysteriously missing, and with one very pissed off Wren Stillmen in her charge, it was a several cups of tea type of day. In desperation, she ventured to one of the mentor’s lounges, firing up the kettle in there instead to boil fresh water (the stuff kept in hot water dispensers all day tasted stale to her). Someone else entered the lounge just as the kettle began to spit out steam, and she followed the movement out of the corner of her eye to her new company. “Muireann,” she greeted brightly, recognizing the mentor from Four. They rarely interacted, but after enough years in the Tower she’d come to recognize her as someone she didn’t need to keep a high guard around. “I made too much tea, would you like a cup?”
