muji plain home.
Guys, please watch the full video of what I did on Sakura's birthday last week. It's a bit late but it's here finally.
I only posted a teaser photo on the day of her birthday on Twitter so I think some have missed it. Don't forget to like, comment and subscribe!!!🌸😚 I'll be posting more videos soon.
welcome to muji
it’s 8am and you need paper and a notebook. you are near muji, you are always near a muji. which muji, you’ll never know. you step into muji, it’s 7:59am?
welcome to muji! the greeter steps into your path. no matter, you just phase right through him. or is it a her. huh. you grab the paper bag that manifests in your way with no second thought. there is a slow, lilting melody that reminds you of second hand goods and fortune cookies. the lights feel a little bit too bright. is your hand translucent? you don’t see the “opens at 11am” sign.
past the paper birds and the orthodontist’s waiting room, you find what you need. a tree of notebooks that never close when you want them to. the prices are whispering your secrets. maybe you’ll come back later. you need paper first.
the walls are made of old wood. you trace your fingers along it and find the cafe. the place is a egg-wash yellow and sanitizer white and you look down at the linoleum floor. a row of eggs are staring up at you. you say hello. they turn away. a hand reaches out from behind the wood and grabs an egg. it pops up from behind the counter. she isn’t in uniform.
sorry, we’re closed today. have a good time at muji.
you turn and find yourself facing a wall of cuckoo clocks. it’s rude to stare, the birds say. the clocks aren’t ticking.
do you know where the paper is? you continue to stare. it’s 8:00 in the noon.
sorry, sorry, sorry, the clock hands tick. they’re ticking faster and faster. the birds are screaming, it sounds like a song you know. it sounds like the song you first heard when you got your first phone. it sounds like good times.
the birds are gone. you look down at your hands, and they’re clock hands. black and stiff and breakable. the ringing is getting louder. you look around and find nobody. help? the people in the picture frames snicker at you behind glass. they aren’t helpful.
the counter. maybe you’ll find help.
the cashier is knitting. he looks like the greeter. you slide towards the registers. what would happen if you press a few buttons? his fingers are the key, to what you don’t know yet. the lights are yellowing and so are his eyes.
excuse us, where is the paper section? you insist.
he smiles and hands you his knitting. you are holding a paper clock. it is stuck on 5:00. how do you know what I need, you scream.
welcome to muji, he smiles a little too wide.
the paper clock is gone, you are holding a paper bag. you don’t look inside. you thank him and leave. back past the origami cranes and the piano aisle. the lights are brighter than ever. it is quiet and you can’t hear your own breathing. the wall of rainbow thread spools have grown eyes. they are judging you.
the greeter is not there. you were hoping to see him. you make up a verse on customer service and bad paint jobs. the paper bag feels lighter. it is the same one that you grabbed in the first place.
the aroma diffusers are laughing. they spill ink on the new muji shirt that you just bought. you never liked essential oils anyway. the time is 8am.
you exit muji and look up at the moon.
the paper in your hand is blue.
welcome to muji! the greeter smiles.

whats a studyblr/langblr without the presence of muji? went to muji the other day to purchase a pen & a notebook, I would've splurged more but I didn't have that much money in my pocket huhu. Anyways, this features a textbook that i printed out to practice my korean. I JUST started using it today & well, no comments as of yet, but its good because it makes me constructs sentences and such. Im going to (hopefully) make it a weekly event to study Korean every Friday :) We shall see cause tbh college is loading me with alot of assignments. 다들 잘지내고있어요? 그럼, 있다봐 ~!
I reuploaded cause YT made a copyright claim. Ugh 😑
Here ya go!!! Please watch my Happy Birthday, Sakura video! Like, comment, and subscribe! Thank you guys!
Just wanted to share this new pocket sketchbook I've bought from muji. The pages are really thin so it's just for pencil or pen sketching but them are soo smooth!
