LISTEN UP PEOPLE!
When you really think about it Mulan and Ruby also only had one episode together. And they meet each other 30 minutes into a 40 minute episode (Episode 9) That leaves you with 10 minutes of them on screen together and then ending with them going off never to be seen again until like 5 months later (Episode 18) But that was before the hiatus. So obviously during the hiatus people had time to become more attached to Mulan and Ruby and the idea of them ending up together even though the two of them had only spent not even half of an episode in each others presence. There was no build up to Mulan and Ruby, just hopeful shippers creating fanart and fanfiction during the hiatus. Think about it, if Ruby met Dorothy in an episode BEFORE the hiatus it would be EXACTLY the same. People would have time to grow attached to them and their relationship. So can everyone stop acting as if Mulan and Ruby have had loads of episodes building up to a relationship between them because they also only had on episode together, like Ruby and Dorothy. And if it’s the true loves kiss thing that bothers you then let me remind you that if they had done the same thing with Mulan and Ruby (They meet, they bond, they kiss all in one episode) everyone would react IN THE EXACT SAME WAY as they have with Ruby and Dorothy. It’s just that in the case of Mulan and Ruby people had time to grow attached to their relationship. Btw I don’t hate the idea of Mulan and Ruby just putting that out there. Also their is still hope for Mulan :) Mulan and Merida anyone?
