-I’ve seen some people interpret this as a reference to Ophelia, but what I actually had in mind was that Satine is a reflection of Obi-Wan (Ben) on the water’s surface. Through this image, I wanted to emphasize that Obi-Wan chose the name “Ben” for his exiled life as a way to quietly honor Satine—and their bond—when no one else seemed to remember her.
