Watching the OVAs once again Made me realize something:
(under the cut there will be my personal opinion, but gotta warn that is not something nice about Yugo, is negative instead, if Yugo's your favourite character then I suggest you that if You don't feel comfortable please don't read, I don't desire to fight anyone and I just want to share My opinion. However, if you don't mind then go ahead! ^^)
I hate Yugo with a burning passion and how he didn't had any consequences of his decision in the OVAs, you guys have no idea.
Just for saving one person, one damn person, and even trying to stop Ogrest, he doomed kingdoms, people, ECOSYSTEMS AND DUE TO THAT MANY OTHER PEOPLE.
Because the ecosystems are very fragile, one little thing that is too much or something Is missing and it colapses, and they're important aswell: They provide ambiental services such as providing food, water, energy, genetic recourses, regulating even, THEY EVEN CONTROL PLAGUES AND ILLNESSES.
So imagine the great damage Yugo caused to so many ecosystems, that even might have doomed so many other people near those ecosystems (if they didn't died because of the meteorite's impact first).
So many lives lost so many times, and the only thing that is focused on is ABOUT THE DAMN ELIOTROPES?? WHAT ABOUT THE ECOSYSTEMS?? THE LIVES LOST BECAUSE OF HIS STUPID DECISION?! THE POSSIBLE KINGDOMS THAT WERE DESTROYED?!.
The fact that the show doesn't even try to focus on that, the ecosystems that weren't affected by Ogrest's flooding that were destroyed by the meteorites and instead focuses on the damn eliotropes as Yugo's consequence makes my blood boil.
Like, HE CAUSED MORE DESTRUCTION, where's that consequence?! WHY IS THAT NEVER TALKED ABOUT AND INSTEAD FOCUSES ON HOW YUGO SAVED THE DAY THAT DAMN DAY?!.
He didn't saved the day, he only saved PinPan, Ogrest doesn't even count because OTOMAÏ DID THAT JOB.
What he did do that day was destroying ecosystems and probably kingdoms, killing people aswell.
Why are the eliotropes the only consequence talked about? WHY NOTHING ELSE THAT YUGO CAUSED?!.
do you ever forget if you washed your hands, then slowly and increasingly feel like your about to become a plague? and once you wash your hands/take a shower/violently wash yourself, you feel that the body (part) is suddenly so much more cleaner than the rest of the body to the point you get lured into taking a shower?
had that sensation ever happened when you start feeling static in a certain part of the body, and after a good few seconds, starts feeling like pop rocks are attacking the body until you start violently hitting/shaking that body part?
maybe stuffies are actually alive and they’re staring at you in affection of disappointment as you get ready for the day like “really? you chose to wear THAT?? my manufacturer could do better for archon’s sake!”
