Haven't listened to the latest Chaotix Case Files episode YET, but I need to state my theory that myself (and bestie @wnacn) are going feral over: the idea that the Sonic Vector's telling his story too may actually be the shape changer.

AND I WANT TO STATE THIS EARLY--cos if we're right it's a helluva loose thread to tie, but... Imagine the Imposter wanted Vector to tell his story cos it would lead the Imposter to the lenses they're after. Imagine Sonic coming to rescue Vector only to see himself in a cage. The absolute hilarity. The idea that Sonic hasn't been involved this entire time up until the end.

PLEASE DUDE IT WOULD BE SO FUNNY.

I'm always worried no one is gonna care about original content so the immense amount of support from family and friend @veeloopz and I are receiving behind the scenes on our Secret Project (tm) makes me extremely happy.

I need you guys to know we're cooking so so hard and I am so so excited.

Get hyped cos the world we're developing is phenomenally fun!!!

That's it. I'm done. College is over. I finished my last assignment.

I'm not gonna be all doom and gloom about the update cos I feel like that's unproductive at the end of the day and most of my feelings for how to speak out about it or work around it have already been stated. I mainly just wanna give thanks to all the peeps out there who like... comment and engage with creative works.

Likes aren't as important to me as comments, tags, and asks. It's the conversations that happen between creator and audience that really makes this place feel like home to me compared to other websites. If a post only gets 20 likes but it generates lots of asks and conversation, I know plenty of people saw it despite the numbers.

So, for all of you actively seeking ways to better support creators and let them know, vocally, how cherished their work is just... thanks :)

SECRET PROJECT NEWSLETTER?

I don't really know if the ungodly amounts of hours I'm putting into Secret Project (tm) will actually pay off and I get anxiety about it often, but...

I've literally never had more fun with a project in my life. Or with my friends. And I wanna talk about it SO MUCH but CAN'T in any REAL capacity atm for legal reasons......

BUT--Blorbo continues to blorbo and I'm thinking I might start making weekly posts to inform you guys on what I can on our progress behind the scenes! (Will this help generate hype? I... hope. You guys need to understand how amazing our thing is after all).

NEWS THIS WEEK ON SECRET PROJECT (tm):

We've completed a few test comics to make sure we understand the style we want to proceed with. A few more are in development for further practice and to keep our sanity.

I've finished outlining series 1 with series 2 and 3 proceeding this week. It's looking like we will have a potentially 100 issue story to tell!

The last few main characters are getting their designs finalized and turnarounds completed by Vee. Gesture sheets and expression sheets for the main blorbo are also being developed.

We have about a week and a half left of prep work before we get to the main comic after 3 months of prep work!

FUN FACT OF THE WEEK:

The folder where secret project is stored has at least 500 individual art pieces inside it!

SECRET PROJECT NEWSLETTER

Another eepy week has gone by but me n' @veeloopz have been so invested I almost forgot to write this newsletter!

This weeks blorbo forecast is a light rain of sillies with maybe a touch of too much excitement???

NEWS THIS WEEK ON SECRET PROJECT (tm):

Finished pencils on the test comic I've been working on today. So many spooky hallways... lots of good practice on backgrounds... And on characters! I feel 95% confident that I know how to draw all the goobers and am raring to go on the pilot itself!

Design week concluded last week with a resounding we'll finish these when we absolutely need them... BUT we got the important stuff done that we need NOW, so that's what counts! :) So many blorbos.... so many good designs... so proud of our work....

Work on the Pilot start TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOO!!!!!
