SECRET PROJECT TITLE DROP

You've been really patient these last few months, dealing with my secret excitement over blorbo and his world. While we can't drop any actual art/content just yet, I can, official give you the title:

Last week was a bit of a drag due to sickness, but we did finish everything we set out to do! So yay to us on that front!

NEWS THIS WEEK ON SPECTRAL MAN:

15 pages have been fully pencilled! This week we hope to get another 6 done in total.

The first "part" of the 48-page pilot should be fully penciled by next week. Then we're gonna take a rest week to do a bunch of inking and one last piece of concept art before we move on to the last twenty! Woo!

Vee was originally slated to color the entire issue with myself on flats. We decided to save both our sanities it would be better if I took half the pages. I wonder if you guys will be able to tell who drew and colored what when the issue starts releasing?

Spectral Man is ambidextrous! He used to switch hands in little league depending on who was pitching. A menace truly.

Woohoo! Another week and its FINALLY time to properly start on the 48-page pilot issue! The first 9 have been thumbnailed and me n' @veeloopz are rrrrready to go!

This weeks blorbo forecast continues to be overtly sunny. The sun is even smiling! It's a little creepy, to be honest...

NEWS THIS WEEK ON SPECTRAL MAN:

One of our silly little 2-3 pagers has been completed to go alongside the prologue/pilot with two others currently in the works. Though they won't be the focus of this weeks activities.

We're just piloting folks! Vee and I are hoping to get the pencils, inks, and letters for pages 1-9 done before Saturday (colors to be completed at a later date). Wish us luck!

FUN FACT OF THE WEEK:

Spectral Man and the Light Brigade™ is heavily inspired by the work Vee and I completed on Archie Sonic Online's Sonic Man issue (#293, which should be releasing later this year!). We began to develop such a bigger world around those characters that we decided it was best to just make those ideas into its own thing!

Can you believe that resulted in a 90+ issue story?

The truck continues to truck as we move toward the end of June and into the heat of July--an intense month where @veeloopz and I will attempt to pencil most of the 48-page pilot! That's 24 pages for each of us... Hoo boy!

This weeks blorbo forecast is a bit too sunny. A heatwave is incoming! Maybe we're a bit too passionate... but is there such a thing when it comes to the blorbo?

NEWS THIS WEEK ON SPECTRAL MAN:

Prologue is done and locked in! Plus a few pieces of promotional art ready to go! For now, we've got a few more concept pieces to do for the pilot before we can truly begin!

Another test comic is being completed in the midst of final concepts. We just love drawing these guys so much we procrastinate drawing them by drawing them... It's a vicious cycle, but hey---someone's gotta do it...

Multi has been and will be working on a few side comics that will accompany the prologue and pilot during release. Fun little 2-3 pagers! They're very cute! See! We're not ENTIRELY procrastinating...

Spectral Man has gotten a design update: NEW SHOES! (for his civilian gear, at least) And a slightly new name. Sorry "Ben", but you aren't needed anymore...

NEWS THIS WEEK ON SPECTRAL MAN:

With nine pages penciled (and 8 fully inked), Seven more have been thumbnailed and are moving forward into the penciling stage! By the end of this week 16 out of 48 pages will be completed! That's... 33% of the way there on pencils! Wow!

There's not much else to report, frankly! We're simply chipping away one page at a time :)

This weeks blorbo forecast is incredibly clear skies--not a cloud is in sight!

NEWS THIS WEEK ON SPECTRAL MAN:

Colors for the Prologue will be completed today. Genuinely some of the best color work I have EVER done with some BRILLAINT pencil work from Vee!

We're taking it easy the rest of this week so we can review the prologue, get some promotional art completed and prep ourselves to start working on the pilot proper! Are we anxious? A little. It's okay, though! We keep on trucking!
