Fighting kitty fat one paw swipe at a time
I bought a new food dish for the kids today. By kids, I, of course, mean cats. These two crazy fur-people.
Before I display said food dish, I need to preface this with one thing: Sebastian (the orange one) is fat. He weighed 17 lbs last time we had him at the vet. For a cat, that's huge. But I have a plan. It involves this food dish.
This is the Satan's Food Dish. Well, to the cats anyway. I think it's amusing. Does that make me Satan? Possibly.
The point of the food dish is to make the cats work for it. They don't get easy access to an all-a-cat-can-eat buffet 24/7. They can 'play' with this devilish food dish and get their food a bit at a time.
I do feel sorry for Oakley (the gray and white one) though. He's bulemic. This may just push him over the edge.
But Matt, you could just feed your cats, like, at a set time each day or something instead of torturing them with this demonic kibble dispenser, couldn't you? Yes. Yes, I could. But I'm lazy. That and this is much more fun for me. :)
