"Do you think it might be I'm part of your punishment down here?" Sprawled across the bed, Alastor rolls onto his stomach, resting his cheek on one hand. The question is offhanded, but those eyes are watchful; curious of what Vox might say. For his part, Vox snorts. He's mulled this question over often for damned near a century, in agony, in attempts at apathy, in disbelief, in love.
"I am one hundred percent positive, are you kidding?"
Alastor's head tilts, eyebrows shooting up- clearly not the answer he expected- but his gaze is warm and his eyes are alight and dancing, ears tipping forward; ready to walk whatever path this is with Vox. "One hundred? My goodness, Vincent, that is quite sure."
